Opus Covid / Mask Policy Update 3/10/2022
As you are probably aware the Washington state mask mandate will be lifted on March 12, 2022. Opus is fortunate to be working directly with a local epidemiologist, who has helped guide us through COVID safety protocols for the past two years.
On her recommendation and in consultation with our staff and families, Opus will continue to require masks to be worn inside the building at Opus at least through the end of March. We will let you know of any changes regarding Opus’ safety protocols once we are able to assess how the statewide lift is affecting case numbers in Bellingham and Whatcom County.
Thank you so much for your understanding. We are all eager to move past this but our number one priority is the safety of our staff, students and greater community.
