She continued her training at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet in Carlisle, Pennsylvania under the direction of Marcia Dale Weary and Darla Hoover. While at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Emma worked as a teacher’s assistant in the primary and children’s division of the school where she worked to familiarize herself with Marica Dale Weary's world renowned syllabus. She is committed to continuing education and has attended Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet's Teachers Workshop. Emma has choreographed various works for The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties, and Bellarmine Preparatory School. In 2022 her choreography for Bellarmine Preparatory School's production of Bye Bye Birdie was honorably mentioned by the 5th Ave Theatre.
Emma believes all children should have access to an education in the arts. Emma is passionate about providing equal access to a dance education. Thus far the majority of her work has been in schools, community settings, and at nonprofits. She is thrilled to be joining the amazing team at Opus this year and looks forward to sharing the love of dance with her students!
