Maia Schaberg - Ballet and Babywearing Ballet
Maia began her dance training at Northwest Dance Center in Pullman, WA under the direction of Crystal Fullmer. She then attended the University of Idaho and Cornish College of the Arts where she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2010. Maia has performed with Bellingham Repertory Dance, in works by Deborah Wolf, Hilary Thomas, Mary Heller, Jurg Koch, and in the dance film Harnessed. She has taught Ballet, Modern, and Creative Dance for The Dance School (Everett, WA) and Michigan Technological University's Community Programs (Houghton, MI), and is thrilled to join the faculty at Opus Performing Arts. Maia also loves dancing with her husband and 5 month old son.
