Nutcracker 2019 Auditions!

Attention all Dancers with interest in performing in the Opus Performing Arts' 2019 production of the Nutcracker. This full Nutcracker ballet is in collaboration with BAAY, Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth, The Nutcracker will feature students from both organizations in an innovative approach to a familiar and favored classic! Auditions for soloist and main roles will be held June 8, 2019. Casting will be done with the spirit of the collaborative ensemble in mind. Students will be assigned roles based on what will ensure their success and growth in a demanding yet extremely supportive environment.

1:00-2:30: Ballet III-C (ages 11-13)     
3:00-4:00: Ballet V/VI (ages 13-18)    
4:00-5:00: Contemporary II/III/IV (ages 12+)    
5:00-5:30: Ballet VI (ages 15+)        

Nutcracker registration for all non-auditioning roles is open through June 20. You must be enrolled in Opus Performing Arts for the fall 2019 semester to participate in this production of The Nutcracker.
